1995 SL 500 with no "check engine" light coming on. Engine runs very poor - the code recorded came from the ASR. Is there a way to check the ASR before starting to look for one through Wrecking Yards? Also can a bad ASR box cause engine stalling and poor running / catalytic conv. rotten egg smell?
