Can a 220D transmission manual replace an 83 240 D transmission manual? I have a dead 83 240D transmission and luckily I have stumbled across someone with a live one..its from a 220D. I believe 99% it will fit, but the 1% always catches up with me at 3 am in the morning Sunday when I have to leave for work Monday and my car is in 1345 pieces..
