about 1" long and white - right? Was rattling around in the "box". I found it pretty easy to retieve the cartridge manually by sliding a thin piece of card board under the cassette and pulling with fingers on the top. The cardboard disengages the "catch". At least now I have the cd's back. Now, do I have the skill and patience to try to get into the "box" to replace the worm???
