Yup, the driver's seat is about 1" higher now...I had to readjust all of my mirrors :-)

Hehe...almost immediately after completing this project I regretted my decision to 'wait' on purchasing covers for the middle seat (it certainly doesn't match now but, it spends almost all of it's time folded down)...In fact, I plan to call Jim first thing Monday to find out how much a cover for that middle (actually the back seat cuz, I don't have a third seat) seat is going to set me back.

I honestly cannot see how it can be all that much and, after doing these two, putting them on that bench will be a cake walk (the seat backs were a PITA...today my hands feel like I've gone 5 with George Foreman.

After driving some on these new seats, I'm thinking seriously about pulling them out and adding some high density foam between the horsehair and the cover on the seat bottoms. IMHO , they're a shade too much of the Teutonic, board-on-a-set-of-springs to suit me.
