Thanks. Definitely do it again in Europe. Been looking at Mercedes motorhomes again on German Ebay recently. I have the 409d here and it needs some body parts so I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive parts source. They're pretty rare on this side of the Atlantic. There is a really cool Mercedes van/bus on Ebay at the moment.

I don't understand the '409'. On mine it means a 4 ton chassis with the 617 engine (90hp=9). I don't know what '9' would mean on a 4 cylinder 1971.

I didn't know the injection pressures are different on the van engines.
