I'm about to pop the timing cover of my 190E off myself, I just ordered all the parts I will be replacing but I need some help picking out the best selant for the metal-to-metal parts.

I got Canadian Tire right around the corner and they have a variety of non-hardenning silicone sealnats, would something like this be okay?

I got another one for cooling system gaskets, but this is a bit of a different story.
