Just a further comment. The most frustrating thing about these is the lengths you have to go to get repairs done. The dealers told me "that cars older than most of my mechanics, so they dont know too much about it.". Well it seems to me that the car's has been around longer than most all mercedes on the road today. They should have a plethora of information available to the mechanics after 20 years of servicing them. I love the look of the car, but you all have to admit, everything with them is a struggle and a puzzle. Just read the message board. Again if this is a hobby, or if you just enjoy being on the board and swapping advice etc, then its a wonderful thing. And its fine to spend a little cash to keep it in shape and running, BUT it should not be a constant river of cash.
