There is no lag, because all of the data is on a hard drive via two
emulated CD-ROM drives. There are many versions of the EPC, and I have 3 of them -- none of the three that I have will run and provide complete data access as you've described. That may be why your version is stumbling when asked to retrieve data the way it was meant to.
