I'm convinced that "0ld" is better. My 230/8, manual with no A/C nor PS, get my vote. The Sienna is OK with my wife aboard, but the feeling of mechanical excellence of the the old MBs can't be beat for pure luxury. Now when I get all the front end bushings replace I'll really be back to 1969.
