Pretty much any time will do. If you don't mind the snow and freezing weather earlier will work. Otherwise, March or later is a good guestimate. We have a nice supply of fuel for a bonfire, and if folks prefer it, there is a community area in the development, complete with horse shoe pits, baseball field, BBQ and so forth.
