Steering wheel vibrations and balancing dented wheel?

I recently purchased some winter tires/wheels from Tirerack and noticed that the steering wheel vibration that I was having was gone! The car (Celica) is now smooth even up to speeds of 85mph (any higher than that, the I4 sounds like it's about to blow up)

I inspected the orignal alloys and tires. I found out that I have three different tires. Two Toyo Proxes FZ4s, one Mastercraft SensysD10, and one Mastercraft *something else*.

One of the rims on which the Mastercraft's mounted apparently has a dent on the lip and it was mounted at the driver's side rear hub (the Celica's FWD)

My question is. Could the dented rear wheel cause the steering wheel to shake?

I wanna get rid of those Mastercrafts and buy a pair of tires from Tirerack. Question is, can I just balance the dented wheel out somehow? It's not bent I think...

Thanks!

BTW, these Blizzaks are nice and quiet when it's dry. Haven't got the chance to try them out in the snow yet...
