What is more challenging in this particular case is just the armrest area. The only way to apply any adhesive is going to be through the back by drilling holes.

One thought I had was to purchase one of the headliner sprays that comes with a snorkle tube. I would have already done this but I am uncertain about drying in such a tight area.

Any work on the vinyl will have to be done from the inside ....
