lowered my w126!

To all of those thinking about lowering your 126.

Upon researching threads about lowering a 126, it seemed that the general consensus that the car would ride and handle much more harshly.
After finally completing my suspension rebuild, I took a gamble and decided to install some H&R springs, Koni red shocks (adjusted to medium stiffness), 17" monoblocks and 235/45/17 pirellis. The main reason for these mods was to eliminate the wallowing land yacht nature of my car through the turns, aesthetics were secondary.
The car is much more solid and composed through the twisties. The ride is firmer but definitely not harsh or uncomfortable. Last, the nose actually sits slightly lower than the rear, much more aggressive looking without the Guido/riceboy look.
