Does anyone know how to remove the fuel sending unit for a 99 E430? I saw posts about it being in the trunk. I removed my spare tire and it was exactly obvious to me where it was located.

My fuel gauge always reads 3/4 full when I fill it up. I tried using Fuel Cleaner, but that didn't work. I want to try cleaning the Fuel Sending Unit before I try replacing it completely.

Any help anyone could give me on this topic would be appreciated. Note, I saw several posts on this topic, but nothing with any detail on locating and removing the FSU for my 99 E430.
