I installed the Air Con myself so I do believe that the pwr window setup would be easier to fit. You are right about the screw/bolt holes being there for the pwr motor as is the clip for the relay and the blank holes for the switches.

Power windows have not become popular on Australian roads - even in luxury vehicles until the past few years. Only European and US imports had them. Japanese models such as Corolla are still sold here with manual windows unless you up-spec them.
