This is not really a collision story but I believe it's related. My wife was watching the news and there was a story on vehicle safety, which cars are the safest in collision tests, etc, etc. The interesting point she was telling me is that they read off a list of cars that they considered 'dangerous', or almost saying they were a road hazzard because of the fact that you would not want to hit these listed vehicles in a collision cause of the damage they would do to your tin-can, ABS'd, dual Air-bagged new POS.
On the top of the list after all of the highway trucks were 'any older Mercedes Benz'!!!
Not only are the anti-diesel people hating our cars, but now we're going to have every 'consumer-report' readin' individual scared of us too!
