I always bid as much as I'm willing to pay for an item in the last 15 seconds. As brian said, bidding ANY time before the last 10 minutes will only make you pay more for the item.

0 feedback is more than enough for me not to bid. Buying a $14 item is one thing, but never with cash like this.
