Tire manufacturers and dealers know that this occurs from time to time; evidently, there is no cure. I had a similar experience last year with another brand when I had to replace two tires. The two tires were replaced with no questions asked, after experimenting and alignment check, of course.
Perhaps they have had so many problems with their tires that they can't afford to replace them all without a fight. I would suggest you tell them you want the tires replaced and stick with it. If the dealer refuses to act, get in touch with the manufacturer. Stand your ground...this is a defect and should be remedied.
