A little bit more from someone that is paid to observe.

My guess, the oil that you see in the second pic is coming from that opened port from the separator. Note how you see the shiney oil on the left side of the turbo support bracket and you don't really see it on the right side. That oil is coming out of the separator with some of it running down the outside of the return tube where it drains down behind the turbo support bracket to where you see it on the side of the block. The rest of the oil that is coming from the separator is dropping onto the expansion section of exhaust pipe off the turbo, traveling to the bottom of that section and again dropping on the support and side of the block where it collects dirt and makes the mess you see here.
