Beware of the hype of aftermarket coils.
Most of them advertise 40, 50, 60 k volt outputs.
Under normal circumstances, a stock engine will never require more than 20 k ohms.
Nowadays, even stock coils are capable of producing 40 - 50 k volts without problems.
If you were to fire at 40 - 50 k volts, chances are your plugwires would start to fire through the insulation, to ground, in a very short time.
Long story short, todays OEM ignition systems DO NOT require, or benefit, from aftermarket hypo-gadgets.
