I will politely disagree, if you can go to the I Tunes Preference page you will see that there are a number of formats as options for importing music and burning CD's including the MP3 so as far as I tune is concerned the MP3 format is not an issue. Like I said last night I rip two CD's using I Tunes both of them I can play at my home stereo, and in my Volvo's CD player. I am waiting for a CD changer for my Mercedes so that I can play all the I Tune's music I have downloaded is an Alpine 634 that will be able to play all the common music formats including MP3's. From what I have been able to see the music from I tunes can be play universally in any music system provided you have specified the right format prior to the burning of the CD.
