More on the seats...they should adjust with the door open and the key out...at least mine do on the 560, presumably to allow the seat to be moved into position before entry. With the door closed you should need the ignition on in order to adjust the seats. If they don't move it could be one of those relays...but I don't recall which one is involved.

Plus you should be able to turn on the radio without the key in the ignition...learned that trick from Glen and his son at one of the West Coast GTG's.
