O.k. I'm a believer. Seats working when the door is open is "NORMAL" and it makes logical sense if they need adjusting before you sit down and insert the key.

Now, if I can just figure out why they (with the door closed) and the windows and the high beam flasher all quit working at once, I'll be home free.
