Thumbs down Sticking Accelerator

Our converted 300DT w/ 4 speed manual has developed a sticking accelerator situation.

When you remove all the linkage and trace it, it comes to the passenger side of the IP where there is a little lever. I've worked it and worked it and lubed it, etc but cannot overcome the sticking problem. I therefore assume that its internal.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

The pedal wants to run away from you when shifting.

Thanks

Don
