the fan doesn't really slow down, even though the interior is very warm, as in "open the windows, it's too hot in here". I put the fan on low..it's ok..I put it back on the center "auto" button, and the fan kicks in hard. This is not right, si?

I tried setting the wheel back to 66-8 or so, the fan slows down A LITTLE- but shouldn't the fan slow down a lot when the interior reaches the designated temp?

The car is new to me and I was very busy checking out a lot of things when I bought it. well that's my excuse anyway. It's under a warranty from the seller, Star Mercedes in Illinois.
