I think the 3M Super holds up fine, the only concern was if it would be TOO sticky and impede installation - trying to move the pad around the hood, etc, to make it line up might be difficult if the adhesive was starting to stick. The Liquid Nails had the opposite problem, at least in cool weather (50-60F, I think?) where I was wondering if it ever WOULD set up!
It did, though.
