Mercedes offered a "Euro Sport" Suspension kit for the 400E/E420. Several on theboard have done the mod to their car. Consists of springs / shocks / roll bars. Do a search on "Euro Sport" and that should help.

The people that have done it say that the car gains quite a bit in handling with a minimum loss of ride quality. This is the advantage of going with factory vs. aftermarket mods.
