Is there anyone that knows off hand where the three wires that connect to the back of my alternator run to? My 69 220d is not charging the battery. I am going to take the alternator out to get it checked as soon as the shop opens. I'm also waiting for the library to open so I can look at the wiring diagram for my car(i don't have a repair manual for my 220d yet) I believe the previous owner "re-wired" the alternator. I know the threaded post is a ground, and one side of the two pronged connector goes to the dash light, but the other wire is not hooked up at all. They just folded it up. I would appreciate any help. thanks, andy
