yep - the daily driver. I dropped an engine/tranny in it at around 234k miles (the engine/tranny came out of a car with 144k miles). It looks like there is some leakage at the front main seal, the IP and the oil filter housing. I will NEVER have an engine on an engine stand without replacing the gaskets/seals that would resolve these leaks. Doesn't leak much but there are some leaks. In addition to the '85 300D leaks the '81 has some leaks too. Not sure where all they are at but it goes through a quart of oil within about 1000 miles. My plans are to go through the engine in it this summer. The SD does not leak.
