They did make E300 Turbodiesels in 1998 and 1999...a buddy just bought one.....1998 white/beige(lease return) with 58K
for $34,900 in Dallas Texas.....even with lower mileage 35-40K...I bet you could find one in the upper 30 range...the cars were only 46-47K sticker brand new...and by the way the car is EXTREMELY fast for a diesel automobile
