I live in the hometown of Labatt's Blue.

London, Ontario takes its Labatt's seriously. I love to support it out at the bar. It is a quality, balanced, full bodied pilsner that is unpretentious, even tough to beat.

I have to say that Labatt's brewery is well taken care off. There is a large garage across the street from the main brewery (Richmond Street south of Horton) in which all the trucks are maintained and stored (even the one remaining famous streamliner). I have to say that there is a level of pride there not seen often times today. It makes me smile and appreciate what they do.

Anyone visiting Toronto must give Steamwistle clear pilsner a try. Especially in the summer, you will not find a more refreshing beer, on tap or in a bottle.

Why is it though, that when I'm at the pub with the boys and we all order our plates (2 piece halibut or cod and chips), that we all call for a pint of Guiness in the winter? I good "stout" sure can be enjoyable too.
