Diesel here this AM is $1.59. Regular unleaded $1.84 at one station, most others $1.89. Crude oil jumped $1.73 a barrel today. A recent article in San Antonio paper says prices are high due to refinery capacity shortage. Said since early 1980's we have lost half of our refineries due to EPA mandated upgrades. If we want cleaner air this is the price we are going to pay.
Also I have noticed few people are driving slower, this would save on fuel and drive prices down. Just my observation.
