You do not need to remove the blower to get to the regulator. Once you remove the plate, it is a little white rectangular item held on by 2 screws to the blower.

The regulator for your E class is not available by itself. MB has updated the regulator and blower and you will have to replace the entire thing.


The 140 regulator will work perfectly. You will just have to extend the wire harness.
