On the 104 engine (3.2 L) this crank sensor is at the top of the engine in front of the valve cover. Three wires running to it with a plastic connector at the sensor. The connector body appears to be cracked and is hanging on by the wire terminals. I definitely plan to have that harness replaced. I'm told the wire insulation deteriorates inside the wire sheath till eventualy they short.
