Easy or not, I don't see that it's really necessary for these cars. It's a big world out there, and it only takes two (legitimate) bidders to bid an item up (or one, if he's trying to meet a reserve price).
When the seller has enough confidence, you may see items listed at $0.99 with no reserve go through the roof! (If the seller's confidence is misplaced, you may see the auction end mysteriously shortly before closing due to an "error in the listing"
