Check your manifold and turbo nuts

I swapped out my CA manifolds and turbo for a fed version and while disassembling them I found that many of the nuts were looser than others. Since there are no torque specifications in the FSM, I used a bar type torque wrench to see what torque the tightest nuts would break loose at. It seems that 50 ft-lbs was what many of them broke loose at. There were some though that were barely tight, even on the turbo. It seems worthwhile to snug up any that may have worked loose over the years. I would recommend this to anyone who has the OM617 or any other diesel. Your torque values may vary depending on the engine you may have.
