Black280ce, Do a search on turbocharging, and you will find a lot of reasions for not turbocharging the OM616/617 engines. Although they are basically the same as the turbo diesel engines in the USA, they are not fitted with the oil sprays for cooling the pistons. This could result in damage (melting) to the pistons.
My reason for wanting to adjust the IP, is to optimise the engine power delivery. It seems that it could benefit from increased fuel delivery.
