Wow, that was a couple of quick responses. I hope the support rod isn't broken. I replaced the housing two months ago because of a broken rod. That also fixed a problem I didn't know I had, a malfunctioning oil separator. It seems that excess oil in the housing was causing the white smoke I was seeing on startup and acceleration. I'll check the rod tomorrow.

I have had a problem with the nuts on the three supports comming loose. I'll check them too.

I had the driver's side engine mount off today to replace an oil cooler line. It seemed fine, at least the rubber was ok. I was wondering about the other side. Maybe I should check it. Those little shock absorbers in the engine mounts seem pretty strange. Any way to check or adjust them? If they aren't leaking oil are they ok?
