Isn't that kind of what it was used for in the first place? Then they found out it just happened to have this other side effect? That's where Rogaine (for hair growth) came from. It was some kind of heart medication, then they found those using it were getting all kinds of wierd hair growth. I had a doctor friend back in the 80's that said he and few of his other doctor buddies were taking the rogaine tablets, crushing them up and making a paste, and rubbing on their brain-pan well before it was sold for such use.
