Yes, I knew a few folks that weren't fond of DS9, but I liked the show, especially after Worf came on board. For me, it was mostly about the characters. TNG is far above the others in that regard, but I just didn't care much for the characters and their interaction in Voyager. IMHO, DS9 had a similar problem, though not as severe, but it was remedied to a large degree by theb addition Worf. Obviously, this is all just subjective. BTW, another show of that genre that I liked even more than Star Trek was Babylon 5. I have every episode in order on tape. Very different from Trek, Babylon 5 was essentially a 110 hour novel for television.
