Dear All:

The check engine light came on twice in the last two months. Both times the led blinked 16 times which means something wrong with the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculate) Valve. I visually inspected (i.e. look at) the valve and can't tell if anything is wrong. I resetted the light and the car drive just fine.

Any tips on checking the valve? Servicing the valve?
