I've never run David, but I've driven his car and they seem comparable. However, with his exhaust work his SOUNDS faster
! David's got a Gtech, so as soon as nice-enough weather permits his running his beast I'm sure we can coax some times out of him. As to how much slower a '93 or '94 is, I'd say imperceptably so unless you've a quarter mile handy. Who knows? I've driven all the years, and they are all seemingly equally fleet.
As to air filters, K&Ns fit the 500E airbox perfectly, FYI.
