I purchased a set of these mirrors from the same Lebanon vender as u are describing. I have just received them and am ready to install in my 1990 300SL. I have done this same retrofit on an early Porsche ('79 928 installed '95 928GTS mirrors) and see this as similar difficulty. Any hints to make things easier for me would be appreciated. (Wiring diag., etc)
