Talking Good advice. I'm loving it, since it was my car!

I did counsel against the license plate switch. I attached a "Billy Bob's" plate off the 300D I purchased two weeks ago. The title is completely in order. I left my insurance card in the car and don't plan to cancel the policy until Monday.
I drove the car every day (105 miles today to the airport), 70-75 when on the interstate. It runs about 90 degrees C at that speed with the AC on, getting 26-27 mpg. The tires are BRAND NEW, changed the oil last night (Delo), headlights are brand new Sylvania Silverstars, air and fuel filters are good. Flushed and filled the cooling system with MB coolant at the beginning of the summer.

I spent almost 30 min. with him going over systems, offering advice and all the "how-to's." He was planning to drive around the area a little before hitting the slab for points north.

This young man could be my son. I would never have sent him off on an 875 mile diesel solo in a "baling wire special" not to mention without the proper instruction. I would hope any forum member who sells another member a car would do no less.
