A heartfelt thanks to everyone on this board who has been so helpful during the last year and a half. While I haven't posted recently I have been a regular lurker and now I will say goodbye. I finally sold the 'phatryd' -- my wonderful 87 420SEL (smoke silver/brown) and we're down to one MB
Being a 2004 it'll be four years before I'm picking up the repair tab myself. (I am trying to talk the wife into a good W129 in the meantime, though.) I learned a lot about my 420 from reading the posts here, and a lot about myself from working on the car. I'm grateful for both experiences, and that such a wonderful community exists.
