If the trend of rising diesel fuel continues, it looks like I'll be parking my 300D and driving the 230CE. Yes I've been talking about doing this for some time but when lowest price for diesel was 2.119 in my area and 1.899 for regular UL last night. I have a bad feeling it'll be another .05 to .10 more today for diesel. My math tells me it'll be cheaper to drive the 230CE since it gets the same mpg as the 300D. The only thing is that I haven't got around to transferring the title in my name on the 230 since I bought it. The tags are good until '08 but I got the car from our neighboring state. A dilemma indeed.
Oh yes diesel is about .10 to .20 more than premium UL here too.
