Don't feel like the lone ranger, I have been carrying a bottle of Redline Diesel Water Wetter around in my trunk for almost 6 months 
Now that the summer is over I am flushing my radiator and putting in a bottle in my '87 300D turbo. I figure it will help on the drive to LA (up the Grapevine!) next month.
Redline is great stuff.
