I've obtained the correct vintage Becker Europa II stereo radio with attached amp to replace the mono Europa II radio that was originally in my '72 280SE 4.5.

Can anyone tell me where the attached amp was originally located? The cable that attaches the radio to the amp is just under 3 feet long, leading me to believe the amp ended up far up under the right side of the dash, but I'm just guessing. My car has A/C, so the evaporator box takes up a good amount of space up under the right side as well.

Any light shed on this situation would be greatly appreciated!
