Save yourself some time and get a clevis pin and a keeper pin at the hardware store. This pin is similar to the rivet but is longer and has lots of holes along its length. Grind off the rivet to free the arm from the slider. Drill out the hole in the window arm so the new pin will fit and cut the pin to the proper length. Assemble the slider and the locking pin into the window mechanism.

This has the advantage of not having to remove the drive motor and arm and pound on the supplied MB rivet 200 times with a hammer.
