My trap is history in my car. Gone with the rest of the CA crap it had. No EGR either. I adjusted my ALDA to give the car the best response upon acceleration. There aren't too many turns left on the adjustment screw. I also put a brass valve from a water line on the waste gate so I can adjust the amount of boost my turbo gives. No gauge yet though. I'm sure I'm asking for trouble w/o knowing how much boost I'm actually getting now, but I can really hear the turbo spool, sounds like a loud whistle. It starts to spool audibly at just under 2000 RPMs. I haven't tried to use a stop watch to time my 0-60's but when doing a 1-1000, 2-1000 count I'm at 60 MPH before I count to 10-1000 on a to the floor acceleration with the tranny selector on S.
If I blow the motor, I will admit to it.
